About Alaska CEU

Alaska CEU is committed to providing the most convenient and best educational experiences promoting continued competency and assuring the consumer of optimum quality and safety of mechanical installations.

How it all works

Alaska CEU offers online workshops for up to eight units (hours) of online study ($25 per unit) of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and the International Mechanical Code (IMC).

After registering online, students will receive a confirmation e-mail and be able to participate immediately. Students may sign-in to the Alaska CEU web-site and complete instruction through a dynamic online question and answer exercise.

Study materials (loose-leaf, PDF, and softcover) are available from Tech Street (IMC 2006) and IAPMO (UPC 2006).

After completing the online workshop, students will be sent an e-mail stating their completion data and mailed a certificate. Certificates are numbered and specific to the individual completing the training. It's up to the student to fill out the affidavit on the renewal form (see Biennial Mechanical Administrator Renewal #08-4296, Rev5/03) according to the completion data sent. The certificate received in the mail, as well as a copy of the email should be saved in case of an audit, to verify compliance with article 8 of 12 AAC.39.
